and again,
just when spring was almost within my
imagination
it snowed
A dreary, gray white-skied day
This is not good for the garden wench
Why, I was just about to get out my red garden clogs
woe is me
Bummer. I hate when Mother Nature plays with us like that....I especially hate in March when the weather "warms" up for "shorts" and then is followed by a blizzard after several days of bliss. Hang in there:)
Oh! I feel your pain! Hopefully Spring will quit playing around and grace you with her presence soon! I woke up this morning at 6:00 am and it was 72 degrees. It was all downhill from there! It's going into the 30's tonight, in face, it's close to being there (well, it feels like it anyway!). thanks for stopping by and leaving such a nice comment! My garden journal is just a bunch of blabbing by me, it doesn't have any photos in it. I really should change that! It's a pretty boring read as-is!
picture in words...haven't you heard of that...it could be very revealing too I have been keeping a vird journal of my garden...pretty boring..same old birds.....but I love them all! but maybe it will spruce a bit if I sketch or place photos in it...My friend, April...is the queen of journals...they are fabulous ...like yours
ha ha...I just got a pedicure...red! soon I hope...Spring will arrive and I will see my favorite robins I am in Galena...and IT"S SNOWING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
snowy sigh. the mosquitoes are vicious in my garden right now in February and I indulge myself in fantasy of a deep snowy freeze that sets them down hard for awhile. I can't imagine what our Summer will be if they don't at least dwindle. Hope the reds you can find cheer you until the sun shines warm again. -Jennifer

ReplyDeleteI am dreaming of a 70 degree day...with sunshine and blue skies..Is that to much to ask for, I ask?

I think you should get out your red garden clogs anyway ... wear them around the house. Cheer up garden wench! Spring will be here before you know it.

ReplyDeleteSoon, soon we hope to once again see the sunshine.

It's Sunday and the sun is out again! We can almost turn the calendar page and look at March 20th, the first day of Spring.
ReplyDeleteBut it won't be long now before the warm weather is here to stay! : )
