is left on a wet deck

I hope they nest again in my garden...joy
I have been keeping a bird journal again this year

ReplyDeletewhy thank you Denise
ReplyDeleteThe cardinal is so pretty. He stands out in all the seasons with his bright red color.
ReplyDeleteHi Suz, Thanks for your visit today. :-) Love your bird count. I haven't done this yet, but hope to begin very soon! I enjoy participating in Project FeederWatch. I may have a link on my gardening blog. You should look it up!
ReplyDeleteI've said it before and I will say it again ... I love cardinals! We don't have them here so they are quite a novelty. Tilly is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting the pics, and your bird list. It is similar to the birds I see around my home, too, except we have Nutall's Woodpeckers rather than Downy. I love the idea of secret garden writing.
Hey "Stan" Cooper is a cool bird:) Just as long as they don't get the hummers, sparrows, doves, or finches:) They were around today because the bird feeder was almost full when I got home which means we had visitors:)
ReplyDeletelovely pics. happy winter suz dear.
ReplyDeleteJulie and Danielle have "birdwatching/birdcounting" days and keep track in a journal. I have to tell them to give them names. Julie names all the bunnies by her house.
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are beautiful; the cardinal is Julie's favorite.
I like how you name the birds that visit.
ReplyDeleteI love reading your blog!
